Krone has introduced a Cool Liner Side Loader fridge trailer that it hopes will give reefer operators the versatility of curtainsiders. The Side Loader is ATP-certified, but allows side loading via folding doors, which provide a flexible side aperture, opening over a length of 11.83 metres without any additional bracing.
The trailer is manufactured in Krone's Denmark factory and is available in multi-temp and
double-deck variants.
A supported low-noise floor permits the use of roll cages and the double-wing rear doors are fitted with a quick-lock system for fast, single-action opening. It is also equipped with Krone's Vario Lock load restraint system with aluminium profiles integrated into the trailer floor, along with strapping rail equipment in the sidewalls.
