TNT has been named along with business giants such as McDonald's as one of the UK's best employers for pay, training and promotion potential.
The delivery company has been named alongside 46 other companies in Britain's Top Employers 2009. The book has
been complied by the Corporate Research Foundation.
TNT operates 50 depots in the UK, and was assessed on the following five categories: pay and benefits, training development, career development, working conditions and company culture.
Other featured firms include Iceland Foods, Oxfam and Tate & Lyle.
The general manager at TNT's Enfield depot, Kevin Ashton, says: "I just look around everyday and see the amount of people who have worked here for many, many years. That speaks volumes."
According to TNT, there are more than 450 employees who have been with the company for longer than 25 years.
