JOST has expanded its free fifth-wheel safety-check programme to include agents in Scotland and the South-East. Open to all JOST users, it includes a 10-point inspection carried out by trained technical staff.
The two companies providing the service are Artic Trailer Services in Falkirk and Tanker & General in West Thurrock.
Dave Deri, JOST-GB technical director, says: "The safety check was introduced as the most common problems we see occurring are purely down to lack of maintenance."
