Marshalls adopts Isotrak vehicle tracking system

Friday 22 May 2009 02:00

A major supplier of fresh produce has adopted vehicle tracking technology to help it improve turnaround times and monitor unauthorised stops by drivers.

Marshalls, based in Boston, Lincolnshire, believes Isotrak's Active Transport Management System (ATMS) will also help it improve its customer service levels through more accurate estimates of delivery times.

Mick Huskisson, transport co-ordinator at Marshalls, says the company expects to achieve a quick return on its investment.

He adds: "Marshalls' business depends on maintaining a high integrity cool chain and the highest standards of fleet visibility and customer service.

"Isotrak, with its ability to closely analyse our fleet's performance and pinpoint ways to boost efficiency, has given us a fresh competitive edge."
