Liverpool-based Abbey Roadtanks has had a management reshuffle to help it gain new environmental and safety accreditations.
In order to hit its target of achieving ISO 14001 (Environment) and ISO 18001 (Health and Safety) approval within 12 months, the firm has tasked managing director Steve Lucy with the new role of director of safety, health, environment and quality.
As a result, 29-year-old Steve Granite has been appointed as the new managing director. He has been with the firm for 13 years.
Management accountant Paul Jamieson has been appointed company secretary while, at the Hull depot, Paul Grant joins as manager.
The group says that in the course of developments - but not as a consequence of the reshuffle - technical director Bernie Holland has decided to retire, with effect from 3 July.
