Citroën is set to launch a crewcab version of its Berlingo van which includes an innovative sliding/folding rear seat and bulkhead design that allows the load area to be maximised.
The 725 L2 van seats up to five occupants (two at the front, three at the rear) and has a 716kg payload as well as a standard load volume of 2.4m3.
This can be expanded to 3.4m3 once the rear seats have been dropped and the bulkhead slid
forward, enabling the vehicle to operate as a two-seater.
This arrangement also increases load length to 1,805mm, up from 1,320mm.
Powered by a 1.6-litre HDi engine producing 90hp, the Berlingo crewcab starts at £13,564 and is available from 1 July.
