Norbert Dentressangle (ND) has signed a contract to manage warehousing and transportation for health and hygiene supplier Cosmeticus H&B. Under the deal, ND will operate from its 100,000ft2 warehouse in Dunstable, Bedfordshire for Borehamwood, Hertfordshire-based Cosmeticus.
The logistics firm will deliver own-label baby and facial wipes to retailers including Boots
, Robinson Healthcare and Superdrug.
"We needed a robust yet responsive distribution infrastructure to provide our retail and wholesale customers with the optimum balance of accuracy, availability and cost," says Roberta Harris, director at Cosmeticus. The group has not revealed the length or value of the contract. The win follows a series of potential ND redundancies in Coventry and Dunstable.
