Volkswagen's biggest van, the Crafter, now comes with a three-year/unlimited-mileage warranty as standard.
The upgraded warranty cover, previously capped at 100,000 miles, also includes a three-year roadside assistance service valid throughout Europe. VW joins Mercedes
as the only other CV manufacturer to offer an unlimited mileage warranty on its flagship vans.
Simon Elliott, director VW CVs, says: "It is typical of how we're trying to help our customers manage their budgets and business in the current economic climate, without resorting to price cutting, distressing the market and harming residual values."
A full range of Euro-5 engines is available on the Crafter, meaning it qualifies for the Reduced Pollution Certificate. Prices start at £17,250 or £299 a month on contract hire/finance lease and are available until 30 September when a scheduled price increase comes into effect.
