Foodservice specialist 3663 has opened a £17.6m 'super depot' in Kent, replacing three other 3663 sites in the county - one at Edenbridge and two in Sevenoaks.
A phased migration from these locations will take place until October to the 13-acre facility at Paddock Wood near Tonbridge. When running at full capacity it will house 350 employees, with 110 vehicles operating from it.
Fred Barnes, 3663 chief executive, says: "The depot
has been designed to accommodate new and existing business and its smart design ensures the highest level of operational efficiency and the most eco-friendly method of working."
