Freightex opens fourth UK office

Freight exchange company Freightex is opening its fourth UK office, near Manchester Airport, due to increasing volumes.

Initially employing four account managers at the new base, Freightex expects to have 10 brokers there by March 2010.

Chief executive officer Tim Phillips says that in the current economic climate, hauliers are more prepared to try something new.
