The date of the 2010 Motor Transport Awards has been confirmed as Tuesday 13 July, allowing football fans uninterrupted viewing of the World Cup Finals the week before.
Motor Transport editor Steve Hobson says: "Next year's Awards will again recognise the transport industry's outstanding achievements - let's hope the England team give us extra cause for celebration!"
