Manchester-based hazardous goods haulier Strand Transport Services (STS) has gone into administration.
According to documents filed with Companies House, John Malcolm Titley and Andrew Poxon of insolvency business Leonard Curtis, were appointed as administrators on 13 October.
The Rochdale-based haulier distributes hazardous, medical and temperature-controlled goods, and its website says it had distribution centres in Coventry, Crawley and Hamilton.
Leonard Curtis had no comment to make, and would not reveal how many were employed at the firm. VOSA records reveal the company had an O-licence for 22 vehicles and five trailers.
The last set of accounts Strand filed show a pre-tax loss of £34,161 and sales of £3.3m for the year ended 31 October 2007.
