Home Delivery Network Limited (HDNL) has joined forces with TNT to offer customers global distribution.
The parcel carrier can now provide clients with international delivery to approximately 200 countries, complementing its current service, which promises to deliver to every postcode in the UK.
Customers such as Shop Direct have already taken up the new service, which HDNL believes will allow retailers to increase sales volumes because they can reach consumers much further afield.
"We chose TNT Post Parcel service because we have an existing partnership with them in the UK, and we have been impressed with their quality of service, which matches our own focus on customer satisfaction," says Brian Gaunt, HDNL chief executive.
Gerrit Mastenbroek, managing director of TNT Post Parcel service, says: "TNT's Post Parcel service's cross-border strategy will benefit greatly from the new partnership."
