Ballymena, Northern Ireland-based McBurney Transport has taken delivery of its 50th Gray & Adams refrigerated trailer as it finalises its fleet renewals for 2009.
The new trailers coincide with the delivery of 50 new Volvo FH-460s (MT 16 July) and form part of the firm's 780-strong fleet of trailers. Each of the new tri-axle trailers is fitted with a Thermo King SLX 400 refrigeration unit.

In July, McBurney has placed an order for 50 FH-460 tractor units, including a flagship FH16-700, worth a total of around £4m. Costing roughly £75,000 each, the new 460hp trucks form part of McBurney's fleet renewal programme and are scheduled to enter service before the end of September.
