High street retailer Superdrug has ordered 100 new rigids and trailers from the Cartwright Group for delivery over the next 18 months. The order includes box-van bodies, single-axle and tandem-axle box trailers, all fitted with tail-lifts. A quarter of the order comprises triaxle curtainsiders, double-deck box trailers, and a Rollerlift system for the double-deck trailers. The new rolling stock will deliver to 911 Superdrug stores and 229 Savers stores, and will operate from the two main Superdrug distribution centres at Dunstable, Bedfordshire and South Elmsall, West Yorkshire.
