Wednesday 25 November 2009 04:28

Greater Manchester-based haulage contractor T Brierley has gone into voluntary liquidation and is set to auction off its entire fleet.

The firm's creditors elected that the company would enter voluntary liquidation, and on 13 November Allan Cadman and Stephen Wainwright of Poppleton & Appleby were appointed joint liquidators of the firm.

Simon Charles Auctioneers will auction off nine DAF tractor units and 17 curtain-sided trailers on 3 December at its site in Ashton-Under-Lyne, Lancashire.

Garage equipment including shock absorbers and brake valves will also be up for sale.
