Norbert Dentressangle has agreed a new five-year distribution contract with bakery Greggs. The deal provides Greggs with transport services between its savouries centre in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and its southern regional distribution centres (RDCs).
Greggs has more than 1,400 shops throughout the UK and serves about five million customers a week.
Richard Penna, group logistics manager at Greggs, says: "The Norbert Dentressangle team were very responsive and listened to our needs they demonstrated to us they could handle the distribution of our products nationwide cost-effectively.
"We have established an excellent working relationship with the team and look forward to developing a long-term partnership."
