The new Sevel mid-range was launched to the press at the end of 2006, but had its public show debut at the CV Show in Birmingham in April last year.
Having had that no-mans-land between high-cube and panel vans to itself since Nissan and LDV walked away, the PSA/Fiat partnership has stepped up a gear in this sector with a stylish van equipped with all the bells and whistles you'd normally associated with a passenger car. Elected International Van of the Year 2008 the range is an impressive beast, combining van operability with car driveability that will appeal to the vocational van user.
A new rear air suspension option allows loading height to be reduced, while the addition of high roof and long wheelbase versions to give a four-model line-up means Sevel can threaten the likes of the Volkswagen Transpoeter and the Mercedes-Benz Vito, with load volumes from 5 to 7m3.
Pros:- Love the looks
- Driveability is superb
| Cons:- Like all Sevel products the sales companies have to prove the UK back-up
