Road Tests & Reviews: Iveco Stralis AS (2002 - )Euro 5

Road Tests:

The big news in Iveco's year was the arrival of the updated Stralis, backed by an extravagant marketing campaign based around the All Blacks' ultimately ill-fated rugby World Cup bid.

Fortunately, that minor glitch not withstanding, the new Stralis has gained more popular acclaim than the All Blacks did.

Pros:

  • Auto transmission
  • Driveability
  • Strong C13 engine; Greatly improved interior

Cons:

  • Perception of poor quality
  • No flagship cabin
