MAN's TGL is one of the few completely new trucks to grace the light truck arena for a number of years and it continues to impress combining a robust design with competitive payload. Employing EGR technology to keep the exhaust emissions under control the little MAN is equipped with a four-pot engine rated at 150-240hp.
Although it's not the most popular 7.5-tonner in the market, MAN's resurgence in 2007 made the TGL an increasingly common sight on the roads. The company has pushed the TGL's 'big truck' characteristics with its generous cab dimensions and unfussy styling, and it's designed for the long haul, keeping drivers well insulated.

MAN will give its TGL and TGM truck ranges their first facelift later this year, just three years after their launch.
The revised light- and medium-weight trucks, which will feature the same smooth grille as the larger TGS and TGX , will be officially launched at September's IAA Show in Hannover.
Interior improvements will include a much needed boost to in-cab storage, new fabrics and trim, an upgraded driver's seat and a longer list of creature comforts.
