Verdict
Though the Extol's appeal is limited it does offer benefits to the right operator, the biggest plus being the price. There's also its size, or lack of it, letting you squeeze in where others fear to squeeze. But its limitations are obvious after a brief drive.
At speed even holding a straight line requires concentration, and buffeting from other vehicles is commonplace. We see the benefits of such a vehicle, but it needs to be executed more thoroughly for it to appeal.
