Lion Heart

There's no doubting DAF Trucks' ability to come up with a good quality product - the question is, why wouldn't you buy a DAF CF eight-legger?

Verdict

It's hard to find a reason n to choose a Daf CF tipper for your fleet. It's a seasoned pro - a solid performer with enough variants to meet any demands backed up by an impressive dealer network. The driveline might be perceived as a touch heavy especially as the Daf offers the same power output as its rivals. Even so it still has a competitive body / payload weight. It's not the quickest, lightest, most frugal or even the cheapest choice, but neither does it do badly under any of these headings. The Dutch contender is best described as safe and sound - which is good news for any operator. Daf Trucks' position in the tipper market is always under threat but while it turns out vehicles like this the company deserves to retain top spot, for the immediate future at least.
