Stand & Deliver?by: Kevin Swallow
The Navara Outlaw 4x4 pickup would probably look more at home in California cruising on Route 66 than circuling the M25. It's a top-of-the-range 'lifestyle' pickup that Nissan believes will attract its tradtional VAT-registered customers and thos elooking for tax benefits for business miles. But does the Outlaw fulfill the needs of its users?
Verdict
While the navara Outlaw is an eye-catching product which would be equally at home on a ranch or a farm, it also delivers the goods commercially speaking. With a powerful and responsive engine and strong fuel figure, the navara Outlaw won't cost you any more at the pumps than the pickup it'll be replacing.
If you are looking at trading up from a company car or van to a pickup, then make sure you comepnsate for the little bit of extra fuel you might need to run it. It's comfortable to drive, quiet, comes with air-conditioning, and the addition of the word 'Outlaw' on the side means you'll never lose it in a carpark.
