I began as a news reporter for Commercial Motor in May 2008 and in August became part of the Road Transport Group content team, writing not just for CM but also for RT.com and Motor Transport.

I cover a number of areas including crime, company results, pallet networks and employment. Anything newsworthy I love investigating and uncovering.

When I was an English Literature student I did not foresee men and motors becoming my forte. However by writing technical pieces on products such as turbochargers, I have broadened my horizons and skills.

As a born and bred North Londoner I frequently cover issues in the South-East, but am keen to hear from all readers.

Journalism has always been my passion and I have done stints at Estates Gazette, Reuters and the Yorkshire Post.

I'm delighted to be part of the team and writing about an industry that affects the whole of the world.
