Iveco's brand new Daily range is now on sale in the UK, and the good news is that while it's improved in almost every way, it costs just 1% more than the old model.

The new Daily features a new face and interior courtesy of Italian superstar stylist Giorgetto Giugiaro, and new levels of refinement that should finish off the Daily's truck-like image. It always was a gaffer's van; now it adds driver appeal. The Euro-4 engines get raised power ratings and impressive flexibility. Among the options list is Bluetooth telephone link and the latest Bosch ESP 8 (even if Iveco hasn't yet grasped the nettle to make it standard, unlike Ford, Mercedes and VW). But the best thing about the new Daily is its mirrors - finally someone who understands van driving has had their voice heard and produced wide-angle lenses that work.
You can read our first driving impressions of the new Daily in Commercial Motor on October 26.

Yes i agree, new Daily is one of the best vans around at present. i was impressed with the work Iveco has done to the loadbox taking out all the rattles by clever design of the rear doors and body arrangement. in the old one you used to get a lot of body boom when you went over potholes or other bumps in the road, that's now been all but eliminated in this version.
