Identify this truck to win a copy of my book

My book Roadside Relics – America's Abandoned Automobiles is on sale now, and following my interview on Radio 4’s Front Row, seems to be selling quite well.
So much so that Amazon.co.uk has sold out and won’t be getting any more until after Christmas. But not all is lost because in an attempt to give the book yet another shameless plug I’m prepared to give away a free copy.

All you have to do is identify this mysterious American wrecker – which incredibly is still in everyday use. But I'm not making it easy as I need to know the make and model, the year of manufacturer, and maybe even the engine too.

Incidentally the photo was taken in a salvage yard in Orange Cove, California – which is the only yard I’ve been to with its own orange tree (just visible in the far right hand corner).
I have no doubt that over the years a certain amount of antifreeze, engine oil and transmission fluid will have seeped into the ground – but it certainly hasn’t affected the taste of the fruit.
