Neither big nor clever 2

Since my spotlight on Mercedes' advertising, people have been thrusting examples of offensive material in my direction all show. The winner so far has to be aftermarket products Sortimo whose stand giveaway is a notebook with a woman's arse on it. Her shorts are so ripped as to not really be there. Presumably the company has nothing at all to say about its products, or the quality of its services and given that they sell racks surely with a little imagination they could have come up with a better representative body part. Wonder if it leaves their customers left feeling like me - bummed out.

The road transport industry, logistics, aftermarket and manufacturers need the skills that female recruits can bring. There is investment all over trying to persuade women that the road transport industry is somewhere they can be appreciated for their many talents. Look around you - is it surprising with marketing designed by adolescent neanderthals that they remain unconvinced?
