Will Scania try again in the United States?

Scania is repesented in every continent except one - the United States. It did attempt to sell its trucks in the US some years ago with a production line and sales facility on the North-Eastern Seaboard. However it failed to buy a dealer network and customers could see little hope of getting nationwide support. Eventually it pulled out - but perhaps not for ever.

Scania is very strong in Latin America and has a production facility in Mexico at San Luis Potisi. So with cheap manufacturing and the North American Free Trade Agreement to help would Scania turn its sights to the States once more? If it does, it better buy a dealer network this time...
