Roanna Avison

I'm Roanna Avison and I'm deputy content editor for Commercial Motor, Motor Transport and Roadtransport.com. I joined the Commercial Motor in March 2007 from a computer magazine and since then have passed my Cat C and Cat C+E. In July this year I switched over to my current role looking at the two magazines and the website. I write for all three and manage a team of four writers who provide news and technical content for CM, MT and RT.com.
I wouldn't describe myself as someone who is nuts about trucks, but learning to drive the them has put a bit of a spark in me and I've become a bit of a truck spotter as I drive round teh M25 everyday.
My background, for those who are interested, is in jounalism, starting in local papers before moving to the computer title 12 years ago. Outside of work my passion is fast cars - driving them that is.
