Today in Road Transport, 4 September 2008

On RT.com we have a wide selection of road tests of both trucks and vans - to view them, either go to the road test search page or browse the full list of tests.

Recent special additions to the road test section include: an Arctic van test, in which five vans go head to head in extreme conditions; and a flagship tractor cab test, with seven contenders. Both were published in Commercial Motor earlier this year and are now permanently available on RT.com for reference.

Over in the blogs, BigLorryBlog spies a new Foden - albeit one on a slightly smaller scale - and tails a 'veggie van'. Elsewhere on the site, we predict when lead times for tractor units may be coming down, and look towards the five-year anniversary of the M6 Toll - the country's first pay-as-you-go motorway.
