MEPs are voting on a proposed green tax on trucks, while drinks logistics specialist Tradeteam is doing something concrete about emissions: they are on course to cut CO2 emissions by 5% by the end of this year. And they must be doing other things right too, as they've just renewed a massive distribution contract with Coors, worth more than £500m over 10 years.

Roadtransport.com and Motor Transport are participating in a Europe-wide survey of transport firms, the European Transport Barometer - it's worth filling in the form, so we can get a handle on how transport firms are doing (and you could win a ticket to an event in Amsterdam).

Well, if you're feeling sorry for yourself I suggest you go and read this forum thread from TruckNet UK, about George (aka TruckNet regular Funnyfut) who has terminal prostate cancer. But he's hanging on - all our wishes are with you, George.
