"My name is Ozmandias, king of kings: Look upon my works, ye mighty, and despair!" Of course when Percy Bysshe Shelley was writing his epic poem 'Ozymandias' he probably had Ramesses the Great, Pharaoh of the 19th dynasty of Egypt* in mind---rather than the Mercedes Actros MegaSpace tractor...but you never know. Meanwhile, this rather neat bit of powerpoint tomfoolery in which rival flagship tractors pay homage to the Actros has been sent to me by a loyal Biglorryblog reader---and I'm most grateful for it. No doubt all the other manufacturers have there own version of it where their truck is in the middle! (* And I'm equally grateful to the ever-reliable Wikipedia for filling in the appalling gaps in my knowledge of classical poetry).
