More strange cement mixers from Biglorryblog..does this mean I've become a 'hardened' blogger?

It's not just the Americans that have specialist mixers (see my previous blog on front-end mixers and Oshkosh). They also have them in hoilday resorts in Italy at the other end of the scale and thanks to one of Biglorryblog's many spies who never leave home (or their hotel balcony) without their trusty digital camera I can bring you this splendid example.

What I like about this one is that it has its own spreader and possibly even vibrator (don't got there) to lay the stuff once it's been poured. A sort of portable patio producer.... Meanwhile, my man comments: 'It would be interesting to analyse the cost of a truck-based mixer versus the specialist plant version [as pictured above]. The key issue at tiehr six or eight cubes is getting the load on legally at 26 or 32-tonner. ' Easier said than doe says BLB. However, I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice that they do things differently on the Continent, and not least when it comes to cement mixers!
