Biglorryblog has taken a breather during his exhaustive search for 'Great British Trucks' in the furthest corners of the world...with a stopover in Malta. As many BLB readers already know, the George Cross Island is home to plenty of Classic British wagons and Ashley Lovering has the pictures to prove it too. Ashley has sent BLB these snaps via Gerald Woodgate, editor at transport news network Meanwhile, he tells me "I visit Malta every couple of months and have photos of all sorts."

Ashley is also busy preparing for the 2008 Welsh Truck Show in Swansea and you can find out all about it on his site on my site .

Of course not all the old British wagons on Malta are as well preserved as those BMCs and these two pictures prove...

Either one of which woud make quite a challenging restoration project!
