Following my recent blog (and comments) on ancient Fiat tractors in Africa, Biglorryblog is once again deeeply impressed by Richard 'The Truck Brochure King' Stanier, who has dug into his fantastic archives to send me this rare piece of trucking literature: Richard says: "Hi Brian, I have attached a scan of the Nigerian Fiat 682, in respect of Martin Phippard's comments on the blog. These were still being produced by National Trucks Manufacturers of Bompai, Kano as late as 1983. The design seemingly little changed from the vehicles produced by Fiat in the very early 1960's.Cheers, Richard."

He then says: "PS - Sorry if I've been inundating you a little with stuff" Richard are you kidding me? If it wasn't for my fabulous BLB anorak army and collective keepers of the flame where would Biglorryblog be? In the words of Alan Hansen: "NO-WHERE" So keep it coming!

What impresses me Richard is not just that you have all this stuff but that you can find it! I have the odd shed full of "rubbish" (my wife's endearing term for my life-long collection of trucking miscellanea) but I really struggle to locate anything when I need it. So, well done mate and thank you.
