Biglorryblog goes to the EVS23 Electric Vehicle Show with young Will Shiers

That young gad-about and technical editor of Motor Transport Will Shiers has been over in Anaheim, California and has brought Biglorryblog back these pictures. Will tells me: "Hello Brian, here's a couple of pictures I thought you might want. If you could run a link to my blog [That's Will's Truck & Van Blog] which has the full report that would be great."

My pleasure Will and here the link so get clicking!

Meanwhile, the show was attended by both Smith Electric Vehicles (that's its electric powered Avia chassis pictured at the top) and Modec (above) both of which have announced plans to sell and build electric vans in the States.

Will adds: "The Ridon [above and below] in my opinion is just the excuse American need not to trade-in their gas guzzlers. Luckily it's only a prototype, and personally I'd like it to stay this way." Hmm....well it's certainly 'idiosyncratic' in terms of its looks!

Will concludes: "The Gem [pictured below] is part of Chrysler---and was one of the few commercial vehicles on show that had anything to do with major manufacturers. Ford, Toyota, Daimler, Honda and GM were all present----but all were showing cars."

So it all must haver come as a bit of a err....shock then?
