Motorway gritters...it's nice to know we can still rely on the famous kite marque notes Biglorryblog.

As the weather can''t seem to make up its mind to be cold, damp, freezing or just plain miserable Biglorryblog has been sent these pictures by Russ Hurley who says: "It's somewhat reassuring that the Highways Agency still depends on a pair of incredibly 'cute' (and impeccably maintained) pair of Foden gritters to keep our Motorways open." To whch BLB replies in the best tones of Arnold Brown : 'Why not?'

I also like the high-mounted duplicate headlights to illuminate the way when the snow plough is fitted. (They thought of everything didn't they?) And that plastic cab...rust proof...
