It’s no secret that Biglorryblog is a lover of Finland’s very own trucks with ‘guts’…SISU! And this video clip is part of a forthcoming DVD on Finland’s finest produced by Martin Phippard and his colleagues on CPP who make terrific truck DVD’s distributed by Nynehead Books (01823 461997).
The SISU DVD features lots more of these terrific timber carriers and gravel trucks doing what they do best above and below the arctic circle. So if you like big Cats in the forest,keep watching for its release.
In the meantime, CPP has full range of DVDs covering spectacular trucking stories from all around the world, including American show rigs. Martin tells me that the latest DVD to hit the streets is part one of ‘B-Train Bonanza’ which features the very best action of B-Trains running in North America and Sweden. While ‘coming up shortly’, part two will have footage of B-Trains working in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Holland. Hand me the pop-corn!
Did I see a Volvo/Renault Ad blue tank in one of the shots Sisu using a Volvo engine? I know they have used Renault/Mack engines in the past.
Well spotted Barney. As you say it's a Renault ne Volvo engine in the white SISU.
Some narration or even just silence has to be preferable to that dreadful porn-film music. Good visuals though.
