In case you were wondering where I was last night (not posting anything on Biglorryblog) well I was doing one of our regular Truck & Driver cab kit tests between, in the white corner, the Volvo FM Globetrotter vs in the black corner the Iveco Stralis 'Active Time'. And which one won? Well that would be telling so you'll just have to wait and see---and buy the next edition of T&D of course! But in the meantime, here's some pictures of my fellow-cab kit tester Craig Sheer who's also a dab hand behind the camera (versatile these Cornishmen!) That stuff all laid out on front is the actual cab 'kit' and includes all the stuff your average driver has for two or three nights away including food, clothing, cooking stuff, our TV and microwave, sleeping bag, etc, etc...
And here he is in front of the camera....now click through here to see where he ended up to get the opening spread shot.
Up on top a of great big stack of pallets, with yours truly standing by underneath to catch the camera in case he fell off....just kidding. He's far more valuable, honest!
And whenever we do a Cab Kit Test with a sleeper cab we errr...sleep in it. Well how else can you judge it? Anyway here's Biglorryblog all tucked up in his little bed for the night.....actually that's not quite true as I took the picture. So it was just BEFORE I was tucked up in my little bed OK? Nighty, night...
