In case you've been thinking that whenever Biglorryblog talks about truck photography he illustrates his pearls of wisdom with a brand new waggon then this is to show that an old truck can be just as effective. Once again I turn to ace snapper Tom Cunningham to prove my point as Tom has sent me this shot of a 'classic' Foden 4000 Series eight-legger to show that with some decent lighting and an eye for composition you can still get a great picture from a Golden Oldie. The only thing I don't like is the tilt, it's just a tad too much for my taste (unless Tom has shot it at a local quarry with its own banked oval track!)
And just to keep 'new truck' freaks happy here's one he shot following a recent visit to Volvo's Warwick HQ. The moral of the story being always keep your camera handy! And I can live with that tilt Tom! Meanwhile, for lovers of Truck & Driver for a sneak preview of next month's Editor's Choice click through here....

Yep, it's a Maggie and this shows how to get a great shot in awful wintery conditons...thick fog and dark overcast skies and you've GOT to come back with a decent picture. That's Tom at his best. Keep your eyes peeled for the full story which comes out in a couple of month's time.
