FH16%20-%20Kaill%20Plant.jpg

There's a first time for everything, reckons Biglorryblog especialy when it comes to buying a super Swede like an FH16. And that's exactly what Stockport-based MT Kaill (Plant Hire) has done by buying their first ever Volvo--which just so happens to be this heavy hitter FH16.520. I am reliably informed that MT Kaill is one of the largest plant hire companies in the Northwest, so naturally they need something with a bit of grunt to move it all.

Purchased from local Volvo dealership, Thomas Hardie Commercials of Stockport, the Globetrotter-equipped artic is now their flagship vehicle within a mixed fleet of eight rigid trucks.
The 6x2 was specified with Euro-4 SCR six-pot and is plated for 80-tonne GCW. beneath the aforementioned Globetrotter XL cab, complete with ‘Prestige’ trim and spot-lights you'll also find an I-Shift auto. The Black Beauty also pulls a state-of-the-art low loader, twin tag and extendable deck trailer supplied by Traffco.

But hang on a miniute! What's that in the background? It's another one of those giant killer spiny starfish from out of space! Run for you lives! And click through here to find out more...

Fortunately, thanks to Ian Choularton, I can tell you that this is not in fact a giant killer spiny starfish from Mars (or anywhere else for that matter) it's the 'The B Of The Bang Sculpture'---outside The stadium of Manchester City. And here's another picture of it. I think he deserves a pie for knowing that. Now where did I leave them...?
