on the way back froma school trip in Belgiium the Head Teacher pointed out that all Eddie lorries have a name on the front of them. A few lorries pass the school every day and the children and I are taking note of them. Hi, Someone just recently told me about the girls names on the front of Eddie Stobarts lorries and although I am now a pensioner, I am hooked on collecting them. It takes mre back to being a child and collecting the numbers on Midland Red Buses and crossing them off in a special book as you saw them. I live near Stobart's Rugby depot which means I ge to see a lot of the trucks on the road. I am interested in collecting the names of the trucks and would be grateful for any information you can give me about how the names are selected and the current up to date fleet list.

One day my husband commented that Eddie Stobbart lorries are named, well since then to keep me occupied on long journeys i hunt for them and so far have 163, i have even got my niece hooked. how do i get my name on the front of one of the edde srobat lorrys

I am collecting the names on the lorries, I keep a book in the glove compartment in our car along with pen to write them down as i I see them. But unfortunately on Friday we had a ride up to Kendal, and the lorries where all on the other side of the motorway. Even my eye sight is not that good to see so far. But on the way home I managed to get about 5 on the same side that we where on. My husband suggested to take the binoculars with me next time, think that is a bit extreeme, but a good idea none the less. I've had a really good chuckle reading all these messages, as now I can tell my family I'm not the only one obsessed with collecting Eddie Stobart names!I call it "Eddie spotting," and have a special book to record them all in.Passed a depot the other week, and wantd to go and write down masses of names, but my other half wouldn't let me, grr! Makes long journeys more fun though! Now I know there's a fan club, I'm going to join. By the way, I'm 51! Ha!

For many years now on the journey from Esssex to Edinburgh I have attempted to spot and write down the names of your lorries. I enjoy doing this which keeps me alert for the jourmey time. Please could you send me a full list of the names so that I may cross-reference them. AR

My Nanna and her twin have a stobart truck named after them Patricia Marie its called we have a picture of it and a certificate thing but i have never actually seen it.

does anyone have a complete list of the names i work next to a stobart depot and live next to another so i have a good chance of seeing quite a few of them :)

did anyone actually ever get a reply?
i know you can join the eddie stobart website but you have to pay 15 pound and after that ts 12 pound a year so i dont think anyone form eddie stobart coy will give the list of names out for free. but when you join you get a few things ie. a check list! so everytime you see a name you can mark it off!
