What is this man in a funny hat doing squatting down on the cold tarmac with an expensive camera? Well he happens to be Truck & Driver ace freelancer Craig Sheer and he's takling a picture for yours truly as part of the next T&D Cab Kit Test--which is why I haven't been blogging today.

So click through here to see what it's all about

Yes it's a top teutonic tractor tussle (well Supermarket shopping trolley tussle to be precise) between in the red corner the TGS 18.360 and in the blue corner the Mercedes Axor 1840 And tonight mister Sheer and Biglorryblog will be sleeping in them.

The two blokes looking as if they are squaring up for a fight here are our 'minders', that's Stan Egerton on the left from MAN and Simon Wood on the right from Mercedes. And all that stuff on the floor that looks as if it's been dropped from a great height is our cab kit. Meanwhile if you're passing Milton Keynes tonight keep the noise down..there's some of us trying to get some sleep out here!

Ay up Brian, talking about funny hats etc, I notice there's no pictures of that chap with the bright green fleece who was seen lurking in the vicinity!
