'Attention!' Biglorryblog anorak army..present arms to the very impressive Mack Granite M915 armoured artic, which proudly continues the company’s legendary reputation for building double-tough trucks. I'm sure you all know that it was the original WWI Mack armored trucks that were nicknamed “Bulldogs” by British soldiers...and the name, understandably, stuck. So here are a couple of modern-day Bulldogs. The Granite military line-hauler, seen here above with 'Plasan' armour protection has a 480hp MP8 (non EGR) diesel driving an Allison six-speed auto. And being in the line of fire it also boasts an automatic fire and explosion suppression system and armoured saddle tanks.....and click through here for an even tougher Bulldog!

Behold! This the same basic Granite but with 'Ceradyne' armour. It certainly looks the business!

Actually, I remember reading somewhere that the Plasan truck is armored to a higher level - it was just designed more elegantly than the Ceradyne brute!
