Once again Martin Phippard and I have been gazing lovingly at Finnish weather weabcam VT6 in Selkaharrju, not least as you're gauranteed of seeing a rather nice 25.25m rig at the junction least once a day. Martin says: "Something you don't see every day. A load of logs on a slab sider. Which begs the question, 'How do you unload them?' I am sure you know but what about BLB's anoraks?"
Well for a pie..how do you get the logs out of the waggon and drag? And if you fancy wataching the webcams yourself
In the meantime 'Two-Stroke' has sent me a rather nice F16 picture so click through here to see it.

And here it is the F16 Ambassador. I'm sure I drove one of these things which as I recall (and with a prompt from Two-Stroke) was a limited edition model to help sell the mighty 16-litre tractor over here. Had a Globetrotter cab, leather seats and a bit of bling like a chrome front bumper....altogether now...ooooooooh!
TS also reminds me that "The F16 was launched 20 years ago. Under the heading of Volvo Power. To celebrate the event the Journalists received Volvo Sixty Years of Truckmaking by Christer Olsson the final chapters celebrating the F16. You won't find any Geartronic or I-shift references in it...it only seems like yesterday but now we are celebrating 80 years of Volvo!" How time flies.

Any idea where the photo was taken please Two Stroke?
I commented on this intersection on you other post. Please read it if you can.
About the log truck. I know they bind those logs together, and I think I see door on the trailer.
PS. My father is a trucker for Celedon. I'm not sure if he gets on the interwebs much, but I think I might have to give him you blog address. If for no other reason then just because you have a interest in selkaharju.
One more post.
Here is the website (in english) for the revamping of VT6.

and a picture that shows another angle of our beloved intersection:

They are actually going to build a large interchange just a kilometer west of the intersection. This old intersection won't even have a stop sign, just a ramp to go east (if you are coming from top of the hill). To go west you'd have to take earlier turn to get to the new interchange.
