Like the much missed vice-president Dan Quayle--the man who couldn't spell potato--the owner of this smart XF105 appears to have encountered the same problem with his sign-writer. Although to be honest he's not alone. The picture comes from Ashley Coghill's mate and fellow trucker Mike 'Asda' Tebbutt to whom Biglorryblog is most grateful. Ash tells me that Mike is: "One of us...the small band of keen, eagle-eyed spotters, always on the look out with camera in hand. Mike snapped this fine looking XF105 Super Space Cab at South Mimms services recently---but it wasn't until he got home and studied the pic that he noticed a spelling mistake....." And BLB readers can make their own mind up as to what that mistake is...by looking at the picture below.

Ash reckons "I think a LARGE pie should be the prize for working this one out....." In the meantime, click through here for the answer and a rather mystifying second shot.

The answer? Well of course the spelling of refrigerated on the Daf's cab is wrong....there's no 'D' in it I'm afraid. Or to make it easy---there's a 'D' in fridge but not the other way around.
However, somewhat surprisingly, it seems the same sign-writer (or I assume he's the same signwriter) got it spot on on the trailer picture above. Don't ask me, I have trouble with 'I' before 'E' except after 'C'. Or as our American cousins say: "Go Figure" And BLB's thanks to Mike too!

'I' before 'E' except after 'C', unless it's 'KEITH' !
