While most Biglorryblog readers know that Sweden was neutral during WWII you may not know that it was determined to maintain its neutrality---with force if necessary. Indeed, according to my copy of the latest official 'Little History Book about Scania--a big vehicle manufacturer' given to me by the good folk at Scania Great Britain I learn that "During the Second World War, Scania was transformed into a purely defence plant, which required increased capacity." And amongst the things they built was this M/41 tank above.

Naturally Volvo wasn't going to be left out and built its own tank called the M/42 and here's a pictured of one from 1942. And they didn't only build tanks..just click through here to see some more military muscle from Volvo.

What the point of carrying a spare wheel[see scania & volvo tanks] I have never seen a tank with a punture yet!!!
