Impressed as I am with the new US Mack Titan I'm tempted to respond to the PR hyperbole in the manner of a certain Aussie bushman..to wit and viz: "Call that a Titan mate? Nah...THIS is a Titan!"

Or this...

And click through now to see another example of Mack's magnficent Aussie Titan...

Now that's what I CALL a Titan! Naturally it does beg the question, will the US Mack Titan be sold (or built) in Australia...? And while we're at it, will the Mack MP10 'Big banger' (basically Mack's US 'take' on the 600hp Volvo D16 diesel) be offered in an Aussie Titan? Questions, questions always questions right anorak army?

Spurred on by my Titan blogging, 'Keeper of the Flame' Martin P has come back with this shot and says: "Hi Brian, It's not a B-triple of course but a traditional three trailer livestock road train. However, it IS a Mack Titan if you felt like adding it to your Titan blog....?" No chance Martin!

Here's a Mack Titan hard at work pulling an off-highway double in New Zealand. Enjoy

The first truck is not a Titan but a Trident - a bit like the Titan but it has a Mack CCRS 470hp engine and other misc. bits which a Titan doesn't need to have!
