I thought it was time we had a few more Steady Eddie trucks featured on Biglorryblog. And in particular the latest batch of girls' names on the bonnet--and as ever I'm grateful to Road Rat for providing me with this eclectic selection. I can't help feel we've now moved on to computer generated names based on 'Countdown' software...I'll have a consonant please Carol

Of course, now that Eddie is buying Jimmy (Irlam that is) the situation is just going to get worse although I suspect that in the short-term at least they'll want to run them as two separate brands---or at least until they can come up with some new girls' names. Thankfully I recognise this one--must be based in Cornwall?

Of course, to be fair, considering how many trucks Eddie runs already, it's hardly surprising that we're running out of conventional names....now click through here for a real corker.

Enjoy! It's either a beautiful name or a clever anagram...not sure which.

the scania with Angharad on the front might be based in Wales. Angharad is a welsh name.
Tuula and Kaarina are both feminine Finnish names, Tuula-Kaarina with a hyphen would be a pretty normal sounding combination name.
Saoirse is an Irish name and Angharad is Welsh. I'm surprised you've never heard of them
For a man who uses big words like "eclectic", which no self respecting trucker would even begin to understand, you need to get a grip Weatherley. The Irish name is probably due to the fact that ESL now have an Irish depot; and Angharad is a particularly lovely Welsh name. The Finnish name might indicate an intention to expand into the Nordic States. If that were to happen, I suggest that you get a Suomi translator pronto.Otherwise your correspondent Mr.Ratty will have you in a state of total, age related, confusion.
