CV Show 2008. Small thoughts from Biglorryblog on the start of the first day of the show...with a 'herd' of Anscough Liebherr cranes.

Hey ho and off Biglorryblog goes to the first day of the CV Show--and as I wander out of the Metropole Hotel before 8:00am in the morning I can't help noticing a 'herd' of at least half a dozen Anscough Liebherr cranes gathered outside my back door. What they're all doing there I have no idea---thery don't appear to have anything to do with the CV Show---rather something else going on at the NEC. I pass by none the wiser but do take a picture for BLB's readership. Now click through here for a close up of one with its legs out!

And by the time I walk back to the hotel in the evening there's only one....strange.

Bob Beech:

Brian, The cranes outside the NEC were there for the MAC machinery show in another hall, No lesser authority than Nick Garlick told me, because he was there with one of a number of Charles Russell Transport low loaders delivering show exhibits, but they were using their own ultra- high capacity Fassi trailer mounted cranes and didn't need Mr Ainscoughs assistance
